Wine should also be stored for some time (for two years Riserva) in oak barrels. Today, in the region of Chianti, a wine that corresponds to the current tastes is produced and, so that it is "dry". The old classic Chianti, however, was a storable wine fruity and relatively short. The Cantina Melini was founded in 1705 and is still a family company currently located in Gaggiano, Tuscany. Melini, under the direction of the Nunzio Capurso wine expert, is one of the greats in the Chianti area with approximately 200 hectares of vines.
